Consumer Driven Health Plans (CDHPs) put the economic buying power and decision making into your hands. These plans encourage members to use their health care benefits judiciously, while giving them the freedom to decide where their allocated dollars go. HAP’s Choice networks provides lower premiums, but still gives your employees the high quality care they expect from a HAP-affiliated doctor. Choice network doctors, specialists and facilities work together to coordinate care -- saving time and money.

HAP offers two Choice networks: Henry Ford Choice network and Genesys Choice network.

Qualified Health Plans (QHP) for small businesses

Businesses with 50 or less eligible employees are required under the Affordable Health Care Act (ACA) to offer employees Qualified Health Plans or QHPs. With any QHP, your employees will receive Essential Health Benefits (EHBs) that include:

  • Emergency services
  • Hospitalization
  • Maternity and newborn care
  • Mental health and substance abuse services
  • Prescription drugs
  • Rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices
